Trouble Shooting Guide
Problem
Cause Correction

When i pull the trigger i get a burst of pressure
followed by garden hose pressure.
When i release the trigger
the hose builds up with pressure.

  1. The Nozzle is in the low pressure soap position.
  2. The Nozzle is Clogged.
  3. The Orifice has Blown out
  1. Pull Nozzle backward into the hi Pressure position.
  2. Remove Orifice and clean. See How To LINK.
  3. Buy new wand, See link.
Pump has no Pressure, its like the washer is off
  1. Low pressure tip installed.
  2. Adjustable Nozzle in low psi/soap position.
  3. Inlet Water filter Clogged.
  4. Water not turned on or kink in hose.
  5. internal Pump Damage
  1. Use Colored High pressure Tips, Not the black soap tip.
  2. Pull Nozzle backward to High Pressure, See link.
  3. remove & clean the filter.
  4. Provide adequate water flow.
  5. Replace pump or contact a tech support.
Wont Spray Chemical
  1. Tube is not Submerged.
  2. Chemical filter is Clogged.
  3. Nozzle is not in soap position or wrong tip being used.
  4. Injector has dried soap inside.
  5. Hose, Gun or Wand may be bad.
  1. Insert tube and filter into the Detergent.
  2. Clean the filter.
  3. Use Black Sray tip or adjust nozzle to low Pressure Position, See Link.
  4. Always draw clear water thru soap hose & filter when finished. You can carefully take injector apart and clean. You may need a new Injector kit.
  5. Remove gun,hose & wand wand and then test. If it draws soap then add hose only and test. Keep adding components if it draws and the part that stops the injection will be the problem. Call tech support if you need more help.
Engine Boggs Down when trigger is pulled
  1. Engine speed to slow.
  2. dirty air filter.
  3. Stale gas.
  4. Water in Fuel.
  5. Low oil in Engine or Pump.
  6. Bearing Failure in engine or pump.
  1. Move throttle lever to full speed.
  2. Clean or replace air filter.
  3. Replace gas if older then 3 months old.
  4. Clean out the fuel system. Never pour the last of the gas from a fuel can into your tanks, if it has water in it it will be in the last of the Gas.
  5. Check oil level in both, if there is damage in the pump its best to replace the pump then try to rebuild it.
  6. Fix or replace, Its usually better and cheaper to replace the pump then to try and fix it.
Engine won't Start
  1. Low oil level.
  2. Dirty Air Filter.
  3. Out of Fuel.
  4. Stale Fuel.
  5. Bad spark plug or its not connected.
  6. Water in fuel.
  7. Intake Valves stuck.
  8. Engine has lost Compression.
  1. Check oil level and add if needed. Some engine have sensors that wont let engine start if its low on oil.
  2. Replace air filter if dirty.
  3. Check Fuel level and fill to proper level.
  4. Drain and clean out old fuel and replace with fresh fuel. Gas is usually good for about 3 months.
  5. Check connection or replace spark plug.
  6. clean out fuel system.

Engine shuts down during operation
  1. Out of gas.
  2. Bad spark plug.
  3. Pump causing to much load on engine.
  1. fill fuel tank.
  2. Change spark plug.
  3. see technician.
Engine is hard to pull
  1. Lack of oil.
  2. Bearing failure in pump or engine.
  3. Pump is not mounted properly.
  4. Bypass in the pump is not working correctly.
  1. Add oil , see mechanic.
  2. Repair or replace.
  3. Pump is mounted off center and putting extra force on engine shaft.
  4. Pull trigger at the same time you are pulling the start rope, if this helps then the pump may need work.
Engine Rope wont pull at all
  1. Engine is seized from lack of oil.
  2. Pump is siezed from lack of oil or bad bearings.
  3. Engine has fluid in the cylinder head.
  4. internal engine failure.
  1. See mechanic.
  2. Try removing pump and then see if engine will turn over. If so then replace the pump.
  3. If the engine get tipped over it can get oil up in the cylinder head. If this happens you can remove the spark plug put a old rag over hole and then pull cord. Call technician for more about this.
